SILK DENTAL FLOSS
• The floss: Natural silk (not nylon), waxed with candelilla wax + real peppermint oil. Silk frays slightly as you use it – those loosened fibres lift plaque out of gaps instead of sliding past.
• The bottle: Food-grade 304 stainless steel, weighted, with a built-in cutter. Buy it once – it lasts for years. Refills drop in when the spool runs out.
• Zero waste: Nothing is disposable except the thread – and the thread is silk. No plastic, no petroleum.
• Tested clean: Independently tested at a CMA/CNAS accredited lab for microbiological contamination, heavy metals, and fluorescent whitening agents (passed all). Natural silk is off-white – no optical brighteners added.
• Best for: Adults with normal or wider gaps, and teens over 12 (not allergy-prone).
• Skip if: Pregnant, under 12, or teeth sit very tightly together – silk is thicker than nylon to hold strength, so it won't pass through tight contacts smoothly.
