BAMBOO TOOTHBRUSH
• Handle: Hand-carved from single bamboo lengths, heat-treated (no chemicals) to prevent mould – 100% compostable.
• Bristles: Premium PBT – soft, resilient, low-absorbency, dries fast, holds shape for 3 months. Not boar (hollow bristles trap bacteria, not vegan).
• Performance: 0.18mm filaments tapered to <0.01mm tip – cleans deep between teeth and along gums without scratching. Dense tufting + small head for gentle, precise brushing.
• Why PBT: Boar bristles absorb moisture, soften unevenly, and come from animals. PBT is hygienic, ethical, and the best synthetic option available today.
• Honest truth: Bristles don't biodegrade – but the handle is 90%+ of the plastic in conventional brushes. Removing it makes a real difference.
• Disposal: Pull bristles with pliers → household waste. Bamboo handle → compost or food waste.
